Special programs for the treatment of children with problematic behaviors (obsessive and behavioral disorders)

LBEF places a considerable priority to the all round growth and development of children by closely monitoring their academic as well as behavioral aspects. is is needless to mention that children’s behavior greatly determines their performances in the academics as well as other activities related to their normal growth and development.

The school sets a team of particularly trained teachers/ personnel in order to address and find solutions to the obsessive as well as behavioral disorders in children. The team, in association with concerned teachers and parents, works on detecting the problems in a formal manner with questionnaires/ interviews with the stakeholders before applying the remedial/ corrective measures on children for the elimination of the problems detected. The principal objective of the program is ensure a smooth avenue for children to achieve academic as well as practical excellence in an environment devoid of any obstructing and impending factors that stand as problems for children in the acceleration of their normal growth and development.

The program further encourages parents/ guardians to minutely observe their children in order to find out any negative as well as positive changes in them. Children are vulnerable to changes and are prone to be more attracted to copying and taking to negative habits as compared to the positive ones. Sometimes, such changes are not noticed properly or simply ignored by parents/ teachers, which may result in further complications and some of them may go beyond treatment and elimination if not addressed in time. In the same manner, issues related to the cognitive disorders in children can also be addressed through the constant monitoring of the different aspects of their conduct and behavior for which parents/ guardians and concerned teachers are expected to be on the high alert about about the different activities that children carry out at school, home and beyond.

The school team (including experts and trained personnel) time and again organizes parenting sessions in the school so that parents/ guardians may keep themselves fully updated about the different factors that may impede the normal growth and development in their children. Moreover, the team treats children in mass and individually depending upon the depth of the problems detected in them. At the same time, concerned parents/ guardians are expected to be constantly in touch with the school authority and the particular team for discussing the different aspects of behaviors that children may demonstrate at home and school after the beginning of the application of the solution measures.

LBEF is highly committed to ensuring subtle, effective and guaranteed  outcomes of the remedial measures applied on children with disorders. Nevertheless, the program turns out to be effective and more fruitful in the event that the concerned stakeholders extend their affirmative co-operations, suggestions and advice to the school authority for the successful accomplishment of the mission.
